Good therapy is an investment in your family, and you deserve to know what that investment looks like before you ever pick up the phone. Your fee depends on whether you work directly with Lydia or with Halle, a graduate intern who offers a more accessible rate under Lydia's supervision.
How sessions work
Most new clients begins with an 80-minute first session. This gives us the room to understand your family and start well. Teens age 16 and 17 may begin with a 50-minute session instead.
After the first session, the standard session is 50 minutes. You are welcome to choose an 80-minute session any time more room would help.

A focused, curated engagement for parents who know something is off and want a clear plan. It includes a pre-session intake, a two-hour working session with Lydia, and a written plan you keep. Your teen does not need to be in the room to begin.

A private, in-person family therapy intensive that gives your family focused, uninterrupted days to work through what keeps getting stuck, led by Lydia Thompson. Every intensive includes intake calls, a curated assessment, a written plan, and a follow-up session.

Concord Family Counseling is a private-pay practice. Payment is due at the time of service, and we accept Health Savings Account, credit card, cash, or check.
We are not in network with insurance plans. A superbill is available on request, which you may submit to your insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement. We are glad to answer questions about how this works.
